How Do Lasers work?

Pico laser uses a very short pulse output mode, by the principle of light mechanical shock wave, pigment is “shattered” into finely granular via focused energy, are more likely to be absorbed by the body metabolism. Electrical Safety

Only manufacturer recommended components, parts and accessories can be installed in this machine. Failure to comply can cause the equipment to malfunction or can cause injury.

1.Any Pico laser needs high voltage in order to operate successfully.

2.Do not use the machine in the same area as flammable anaesthesia gas, air mixed gas, oxygen or nitrous oxide.

3.Some substances such as cotton can catch fire from the heat generated by the laser. Do not point the laser directly at any materials not designed for laser use.

4.Do not operate the equipment immediately after using flammable alcohol wipes or flammable cleaning products.

5.Do not use the machine after using flammable or explosive substances. Do not store flammable or explosive substances around the equipment. Flammable and explosives include: gasoline, alcohol, narcotics, solvents, desiccant and synthetic resins.

6.Untrained or non-professional persons are prohibited from installing or maintaining the equipment.

Optical Safety

The maximum output energy of this equipment can reach 1500mj or 1.5joules, which can cause severe burns. Operators must ensure that when not in use, the laser is switched off or in standby mode. Do NOT point the laser at any surface not designed or intended for laser treatment. Additionally operators must ensure that they use the correct wavelength and frequency for the treatment being conducted.

Eyewear and eye safety

Laser goggles and glasses are designed to prevent eye damage by the laser. All operators, clients, visitors, nurses and any other persons in the treatment rooms MUST wear laser protective eyewear at all times. Sunglasses are NOT designed for laser use and are NOT permitted to be used with this equipment.

For your safety this machine comes with 1 pair of client goggles and 1 pair of glasses for the user. It is recommended that you purchase additional pairs of glasses in case of breakages.
